About Labor History Links
Our goal is to share the work of labor history, in its broad definition.
Labor history is not only the history of unions, but of broad experiences of workers, worker communities, divisions in the working class, types of labor, management and capitalist history.
The site annotates resources for the general public, teachers and researchers, for the active exploration through public history projects, books, lesson plans, teaching materials, movies, tours, museums, exhibits, art.
We are attentive to place and want to ensure that visitors can find materials by region and place. We want to build this site in an inclusive way, being mindful of the work done outside the universities as well as inside, at regional and local levels, and to facilitate networks of those interested in labor history.

We will build up this site further when we can acquire more financial resources. You are invited to join us in this endeaver, to help others become aware of a project, book, exhibit, music, art, etc. that is missing from our lists, by submitting a link. It's pretty easy!
